Zenprop / Growthpoint - Discovery Head Quarters
Our pioneer longterm construction timelapse project is done! The long-awaited Discovery Head Quarter in Sandton is finally completed and so is the video. With three cameras running since April 2014, Timelapse SA has been capturing the progress of this project everyday until March 2018.
With over 16 TB of data, more than 650 000 still images captured, producing around 9 hours of footage, this surely was a production of epic proportions!
The new Discovery head office in Sandton is one of the most iconic buildings in Sandton today and has received a 5-star Green Star rating from the Green Building Council of South Africa. One Discovery Place was developed in joint venture by Growthpoint Properties and Zenprop Holdings and is one of the largest and greenest office buildings in Africa.
With various awards form the South African Property Owners Association (SAPOA), among others in 2019 such as top honours in the Interiors and Office Developments for the Corporate category, it was also named the Overall Winner.
