As many of you know, around this time of the year we host a Timelapse Weekend Workshop. The popularity of this weekend has grown quite significantly. We had record attendance last year with over 30 people joining us for this workshop. Nial Mollison and his brother, Brad, (also known as the veterans) has been joining us on every single workshop! We recently received this email from them:

Oh what fun it is to be on Timelapse Weekend Workshop! Yay! We did it again and each year is just getting bigger and better. Although we are suppose to max this weekend at 20 people we were kind of forced to accept more people to join as so many wanted to join in the past but just couldn't. Some people have actually waited 3 years for this opportunity...

As many of you might know, it's time for the ever popular Weekend Workshop again! We are especially excited about this one. Not only because we are fully booked and maxed out but because we have something super cool to share with you! Actually more than just something, a few things...

The popularity of this timelapse weekend workshop is just growing and growing! Since the very first one that happened in Feb 2013, we knew that this will become a regular event on our calendar. And we did it again! Same place, same time, same weather…..

We just finalised our workshop dates for 2014. Please take note that the various workshops will only take place once or twice during the year so add these dates to your diary now!! If you miss a workshop, chances are there won't be another one coming up in 2014.

Since the many requests to hold another timelapse weekend, we just had to organize another one. And of course we improved this one by including a workshop to get you started with shooting and processing your timelapse shots.

I think this short video just about sums up the GREAT weekend we had!
The only thing it doesn't show is how everyone scrambled at 4am on the Saturday morning when the thunderstorm was upon us... Trying to rescue 9 cameras in the dark before it gets drenched in rain!

And of course, the cooking show from "Le Andre"... But perhaps that should be part of the deleted scenes ;-)

Wow! This year is starting with a bang...

Almost a week into the New Year and the calendar is filling up fast.  From timelapse workshops, to Gunther Wegner from LRTimelapse coming to SA, to a date finalized for the long awaited time lapse expedition.
