Workshops and workshops galore and it's ALL happening at the 2012 Photo & Film Expo at the Coca-Cola Dome in Randburg, JHB.

With so much action going on it’s hard to get to everything in a day!  How do you choose which workshops to attend?  And it’s all free, mahala, gratis ;-)

From workshops, to fashion shoots, make-up sessions, student shoot-offs, retouching techniques, competitions and great specials all round, the 2012 Photo & Film Expo is an expo to be reckoned with.

OK, just a quick general update !!!

Before this hectic week at the 2012 Photo and Film Expo starts, I'd like to give you all an incite on a few things.

Firstly; the people that already own a Shukuma DOLLY, I am still trying to source limit switches with the right components in SA.

I was totally blown away a few minutes ago after I saw an article by a South African engineering company (whose name I will not yet reveal).  Apparently they "assisted" me in building and designing the Shukuma DOLLY.....!!!
They are one of my 21 suppliers for ONE item ONLY and are suppliers ONLY! They did not design or engineer a single thing for me, except to sell me an item that is being used on the dolly.

I would like to take this opportunity and let you ALL know it is NOT true and I WILL take this matter seriously and keep you posted.

WOW!! What a challenge this was to actually source and produce timelapse dollies in South Africa!!
With a lot of struggle, and I mean a lot of struggle, I can now only say WOW! 

Peter Hassall, Jonelle and I went out on a shoot to Sandton to do some TimeLapse at Nelson Mandela square.

Being there on a Saturday meant lots of people activity, with some very interesting shots.

I am so chuffed with these dolly bags and are really happy to finally see how they turned out!  Now you can carry your kit around with ease in one of these Shukuma DOLLY bags.

What a fantastic evening we had with all the Johannesburg photographers finally deciding to venture past the “Boerewors gordyn”!  And now all us Pretorians will feel much more included in this gang of Gauteng photographers.

I've just heard that my custom bags for the Shukuma DOLLY will be shipped today and it will be here before the end of the week!!  Big happy smile!
