Being commissioned to work on assignments like “Cats of the Camelthorn” (working title), a new Trilogy about three iconic African trees, is something we’ve been praying for and we’d love to share this incredible experience with you all!

I have been using and testing the Timelapse+ Intervalometer for some time now and finally found a moment to tell you more about this little unit. I just have to add that this post is long over due!

I recently set out to do an in-depth review testing the Nikon D610 and the Canon 6D, specifically focusing on the functionality and workflow for timelapse photographers. It was a tough prediction to make as it was clear even before the testing started that Nikon outshines Canon on some levels where Canon out-performs Nikon again on other levels.

Earlier this year we blogged about an exciting longterm timelapse project happening In Sandton, Johannesburg. Timelapse is such a great way to show how these incredible projects are taking place and exactly what it takes to develop such astounding architecture.

Wow! I was busy sorting some old photos a few days ago and came across this shot taken in 2012 of all our timelapse gear just before packing it into our Landy...

Construction is happening all around us and it's happening so fast, we hardly notice it. Few people truly know what it takes to construct these buildings. Unless you can view it in a timelapse of course! This way everyone can appreciate the efforts going into such large projects especially if it takes 4 years to complete ;-)

The popularity of this timelapse weekend workshop is just growing and growing! Since the very first one that happened in Feb 2013, we knew that this will become a regular event on our calendar. And we did it again! Same place, same time, same weather…..

In early November 2013 we set out on a mission to put up two static timelapse cameras in a warehouse to shoot a timelapse of racks & shelving being installed. Little did we know how amazing this shoot will turn out!

Since this is the very first post for 2014 we would like to wish you all a prosperous New Year and we hope that 2014 will bring you lots of happiness :-)
